After a 21-year career in education, I decided to begin selling real estate in the Harvey County area. My family relocated to Hesston in 1991 and has enjoyed the many benefits of living in this area of Kansas. I believe the people and values of our community reflect what most of us long for: quality schools, family as a priority, diverse opportunities, and the feeling of belonging and participating in many aspects of life. Because I previously taught in Newton and Hesston, I have an additional understanding of the area schools. Currently, I own a small retail gift business in Hesston, emma creek co., so I also have an appreciation for the importance of commerce in the area. A homeowner in Harvey County since 1984, I joined GLC Real Estate in 2006. I have been an educator in Newton since 1980 and currently am a Reading Specialist at Sunset Elementary School. I am continuing my career as a teacher, and also am excited about the challenges of a second career. I obtained a real estate license in 1967. Operated as a real estate broker and independent insurance agent until 2007. Developed many single family dwellings in Hesston. Have interests in local real estate rentals. Have a degree in Business Administration from Pittsburg State College. Licensed insurance agent. Since being in business for years in Hesston, I am very familiar with the area and can offer assistance in the buying & selling of real estate.
